For the convenience of the students, the college operates a bookstore located in the Jon and Judith Larson Student Center. The cost of required books and electronic course materials is embedded into the per credit tuition rate. Bundling course books and materials into tuition provides increased transparency and simplicity, making it easier for students to understand the real price of their education. This also ensures students receive exactly the books needed for the course, when they need them. Students will be provided with a low-cost version of the book for each course.  For some courses that will mean book rentals, and for others, e-books. All printed textbooks are rentals and must be returned to the bookstore at the end of the semester to avoid incurring additional fees.

The bookstore is open Monday through Wednesday 8:30am to 6:00pm, Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Hours are extended during the beginning of each semester. Hours are posted on the Bookstore website. Students may also use OCC’s online bookstore website.
