Both the associate degree in education and the associate degree in health and physical education enable students to explore practical applications of major educational theories, how to professionally conduct a classroom environment, and examine the interrelationship of the biological, cognitive, socio-emotional development of all learners, including exceptional children. These programs prepares students for acceptance into a 4-year education department by providing necessary coursework and preparation for passing the Core Praxis exam required for teachers.
