Engineering Program
Professional opportunities for engineers continue to be strong in today's technological world. The first two years of college work are much the same for all branches of engineering. The program listed below is a good basic program for those who have not yet made their choice of an engineering college. Additional courses in the fields of engineering specialization are advised to achieve junior status in the transfer college of choice. To ensure that the appropriate transfer courses are taken, students should discuss course sequence with a faculty advisor in the Engineering Studies Department during the first semester of study.

Additional Requirements:- OCC Requirement (2-3 s.h.) Any course from the list of Approved General Education courses. OR ACAD-155 OR Any HEHP course(s)
- Social Science General Education (6 s.h.) Courses satisfying this general education requirement must be taken from the list of Approved Social Science General Education courses (course type: GSOC).
- Humanities (GHUM) Gen Ed Electives: 6 s.h. Courses satisfying this general education requirement must be taken from the list of Approved Humanities General Education courses. (course type: GHUM)
- Technological Competency/Information Literacy (GTEC)--3 crs Courses satisfying this requirements must be taken from the list of Approved General Education Technological Competency or Information Literacy (GTEC) courses. OR Student may attempt to "test out" of the technology requirement (TECH WVR). If successful, student must take an additional course(s) to meet the required 64 total credits. NOTE: Transfer students are strongly advised to take MATH 280 Differential Equations (3 s.h.).
