Nursing II

The student investigates health alterations that affect the essential activities of daily living and human needs. The course focuses on the application of the nursing process to the care of individuals across the age span. Concepts of growth and development of the middle and older adult, as well as chronic illness and death are explored. Disorders of the endocrine, gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal systems are presented. Application of the nursing process to the care of individuals across the age span with mental health/illness disorders is addressed.

NURS 175, BIOL 130 and BIOL 131 and corequisite NURS 174

Corequisites
