This course deals with the methods and materials appropriate for basic arts experiences in early childhood education. Students will develop strategies and procedures for introducing children to experiences and environments based on cumulative, developmental and diverse learning situations. Projects in visual arts, music, dance and theater will be explored both in class and on site with opportunity and methods for class management and self-assessment.
