Applied Modern Health I

This course fulfills the Health and Human Performance requirement for graduation. Please note that this is a 2 credit course. Similar topics are covered in HEHP 225 Contemporary Health. The major difference between this course and HEHP 225 is the physical element. Students will be required to either walk, jog, or swim. In addition, the fitness room circuit weight training and other forms of aerobic exercise are included. Health lectures include wellness, fitness, cardiovascular system, nutrition, weight control, cancer, sexuality, sexually transmitted infection, including HIV/AIDs. The measurement of blood pressure and body composition are provided.
